The Solar Hive Metaverse for Business

​Solar Hive XR is a Metaverse world building project we are creating 3d content for on the Engage Enterprise Metaverse platform using Unity and 3D Studio Max.  Our current online world is a phase One prototype which builds a framework to support 3D training, meetings & events, education, logistics, sales, networking and a bit of fun for the solar Industry and beyond.

Process & Workflow

 3D Studio MAx & Photoshop

The Solar Hive Metaverse is wide ranging project in terms of 3D Environment and Asset creation. We start by using, industry standard, 3D Studio Max to model custom architectural structures, branded 3D props, furniture & solar panels as well as optimizing client provided CAD files for VR. We always keep an eye toward building in a modular way to rapidly expand and iterate the 3D metaverse environment.

UNITY SDK

We then take our 3D models and import them into Unity to build our greater world. This includes setting up the architectural 3D models to fill out a 3D site plan, creating 3D lighting,  materials, interactive triggers,  atmospheric FX and more!

ENGAGE VR PLATFORM

Once everything is looking good in Unity we export the project and Push it up to a github repository where it then goes LIVE and is either available to explore and experience across platforms ( VR headsets, PC, mobile, tablets, ipads, etc) to the public or kept for private online metaverse events.
